The World Universal League of Permanent Makeup (WULOP) is a comprehensive global organization, combining congresses and world championships with worldwide representation in 69 countries in 2024.

WULOP is to permanent makeup, what the Olympics are to sports. The most talented permanent makeup artists in the world, competing head to head, for a coveted spot on their countries WULOP Championship Team.

A chance for artists to represent their country internationally with hopes of becoming a WULOP World Champion and leaving a lasting mark in PMU history.

Aside from being the largest and most respected PMU competition in the world, WULOP is a family, a diverse international community.

Unlike local permanent makeup (PMU) competitions commonly held in most countries, WULOP takes things to a higher level by organizing and hosting an annual international world championship competition.

Individual semifinal events are organized and held internationally. Each country has a team of officially designated WULOP representatives responsible for organizing the semifinal event, where artists compete live, head to head in one of 5 PMU categories.

Winners of each class come together to form a team of representatives which travel to the world championship in Turkey to represent their country on a global scale.

At Wulop Canada we want to foster relationships which lead towards artists and brands working collaboratively to help improve the overall well being of the PMU community, while simultaneously advocating for the best interests of clients by promoting high practice standards.

Yes, you need to bring your own products for the competition as you need to use materials and tools familiar to you.

Anyone who is directly related to or interested in the permanent makeup industry. If you are an aspiring artist who is considering a career path in PMU then we encourage you to purchase a general admission ticket. Wulop is a great place to find a teacher or mentor amongst the numerous talented artists that will be presenting their PMU techniques as live demonstrations or as speakers.

Yes, you can. If you are international artist you must have valid visa or travel documentation. You must look after all accommodations for your stay in Canada.

Organizers are unable to provide models for participants. It is the responsibility of each participant to arrange for their own model for the competition. This is part of the artists responsibility. Selecting a suitable model is important.

If you have difficulties in finding a suitable model, we recommend reaching out to your network for assistance. Additionally, try to connect with fellow participants or relevant online communities who may be able to offer support in this matter.

If you need to cancel your entry, it should be done no later than August 15 2024.
